Full Description Peter Island Resort is an elegant, secluded, 52 acre hillside estate that offers the ultimate Caribbean experience. With award-winning cuisine, elegant or casual dining, romantic beachfront cabanas, seaside picnics... it's a way of life you'll never want to leave. This fifty-room luxury resort lies on a private 1800-acre island south of Tortola, with four white sand beaches and surrounded by an abundance of beautiful tropical scenery. TRAVELING TO PETER ISLAND: Flight information must be give to the hotel prior to arrival. Guests are met at the airport in Tortola by BVI Courtesy Services, who have a Peter Island Sign and brought to the hotel. Inside, a ceiling fan whirls under lofty beamed ceilings and over a king bed (twins on request), desk, and oversized lounge chairs. Beachfront Suites are very private accommodations and feature luxury furnishings and two person Jacuzzis with ocean views. Each suite is surrounded with tropical gardens and has a balcony or patio overlooking Deadman's Bay and the British Virgin Islands beyond. Hotel Restaurants and Bars Explore the epicurean delights of Tradewinds Restaurant overlooking the breathtaking waters of Sir Francis Drake Channel. Using items indigenous to the Caribbean, the classical yet contemporary cuisine makes the flavor of Tradewinds truly unique to Peter Island. Dinner in the more casual Deadman's Beach Restaurant on the Beach blends Caribbean and mainland favorites. Hotel Activities and Entertainment Reef Bay, Deadman's Bay and White Bay are all perfect for swimming, snorkelling, and relaxing picnic lunches. At the resort, revitalize body and spirit with a trip to the full service fitness and massage therapy centers located on Deadman's Beach. Or simply relax in island gentility with a visit to the library or swimming pool. Schedule a game of tennis, go snorkeling, windsurfing, mountain biking, or enjoy a day of sailing.
